This eliminates the need for a buffer assembly, which means the Dissent is radically shorter than other AR-style firearms on the market. With this compact action and recoil system comes a forward mounted non-reciprocating side charging handle which can be switched to the left or right side. This Complete Dissent Upper Assembly is compatible with CMMG’s Mk4 lower receivers or standard mil-spec AR-15 lower receivers. A 1913 Picatinny rail end cap comes included with every upper and allows the user to add any Picatinny compatible stock assembly.
